The Fusion with it’s “Carbon Compression Core” is the ultimate blend of design, function and technology. It’s tense deck will give you explosive pop and fast response which not only makes it perfect for freestyling, but the freeride friendly outline makes this a mad piece of art.
Carbon fibers or carbon fibers (alternatively CF, graphite fiber or graphite fiber) are fibers about 5–10 micrometers in diameter and composed mostly of carbon atoms. Carbon fibers have several advantages including high stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion.
In all boards we use 3 PVC block parts on each finbox. This solid construction is much better and stronger than the average construction.
To add even more performance to our boards we created the Active Backbone. This backbone runs through the complete length of the board and adds both stiffness and strength where needed. It spreads all the forces on the inserts evenly through the board, increasing control and comfort.
CNC'D Carbon Compression
Sandwich construction is where a thin layer of high density PVC foam in attached ti the core of the board with a layer of fiberglass or carbon between the two. Sandwich construction offers more Durability. Then another layer of fiberglass is laminated on the outside of the thin layer of PVC foam.
