The information in this lesson will be used every time you go kiteboarding. It will keep you and everyone else on the beach safe. This course can be held at any time regardless of wind and weather and is a prerequisite for any of our water lessons.

In this class, we will discuss all the safety measures and decision making required to have a safe and fun time on the water. We will learn how to choose a beach and proper weather conditions for kitesurfing, how to properly set up and inspect your kiteboarding equipment, basic kite control and self rescue procedures, the process of launching and landing a full size kiteboarding kite, and the use of all safety systems.(1-5 People | $100 per person)

Prepare yourself to get hooked! Your first session is something that you’ll never forget. We will walk you through the basics of the sport focusing primarily on safety on the land and kite control in the water. Bring a friend along, or make a new one during your session. This course includes the Ground Sessions plus 3 hours in the water with a full-size kiteboarding kite. You will learn basic kite control skills, how to generate power from the kite and get moving in the water, how to maintain control while under power, and essential safety skills. This is the next step in the progression after completing the Kite Session. From learning to put your feet in the board, to riding on top of the water, this kiteboarding lesson was designed to get you shredding as quickly and safely as possible! You will learn how to manage the kite and the board safely, how to get into the board and maintain control of your equipment at all time, and additional board riding skills such as performing water starts and proper edge control, speed control, and how to stop! The majority of students will be up and riding independently by the end of this lesson. (1-2 people | $300 per person)

This kiteboarding lesson includes a custom tailored progression plan that provides additional water time to work on whichever skills you need to master. This is a good option for students coming from other schools that still need to complete their training, students who have completed their courses but would like some more time with an instructor before kiting on their own, and/or students looking to learn some more advanced skills like jumping higher, kite loops, handle passes, or riding a directional. (1 Person | $300 per person)

The Solo Session is for kiteboarding students who have finished their lessons and are eager to get on the water to practice but still don't have kiteboarding gear or are visiting the area around one of our locations without their kitesurfing equipment. This is an inexpensive gear rental only available to session sports students who have shown themselves to be self sufficient and responsible riders. This kiteboarding equipment rental includes the appropriate size kite for the conditions, control bar, kiteboard, and a kiteboarding harness.(1 Person | $150 per person)
