Master the Wing. Feel the Wind. Cool Off While You Learn.

Your wingfoiling journey starts here with a fun, hands-on introduction to wing handling both on land and in the water. This session covers the essentials of rigging, safety, and wind awareness, but we don’t just keep you on the beach. You’ll finish the session in the water on a stable SUP, getting real-time experience controlling the wing in motion—no board foiling yet, just pure wing control and fun.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to rig, carry, and care for your wing

  • Wind direction, wind window, and safety zones

  • Correct grip, stance, and body position

  • Power strokes, steering techniques, and depowering

  • Wing handling on a SUP in the water for balance and control

Yes, you’ll be getting wet. After we dial in your wing handling on land, we’ll head into the water where you’ll ride a stand-up paddleboard to practice balance, turning, and staying powered in real conditions. It’s an immersive way to learn, and way more enjoyable than baking on the beach.

“Getting into the water on Day 1 made everything more real—and fun. I felt like I was actually riding, even before getting on the foil.”
Kole N., Beginner Wingfoiler

What to bring: Water wear or a swimsuit, sun protection, bottle of water, and a towel. We’ll handle the gear—you just show up ready to learn and get wet.

By the end of this session, you’ll have a solid foundation of wing control, wind reading, and water comfort that sets you up for success when it’s time to fly.
