The new Stellar has limitless boosting potential as a freeride to freestyle board with outstanding performance in Big Air. Our ambition was to create a weapon that’s accessible to megaloopers, as well as for more ambitious riders aiming for the exclusive 30m club!
The combination of materials used together with the optimised flex curves generates explosive bounce and pop that is second to none! As the concave channel layout becomes narrower towards the rear, higher pressure is created to lift out of the water early giving explosive pop.
Sustainable basalt fibre is uniquely used for the Stellar to give dynamic flex and perfect damping. Basalt fibres have significantly higher tensile and compressive strength and stiffness compared to glass fibres. The basalt together with the light Paulownia wood core contributes to significant increases in smoothness, easy accessibility and performance!
The Stellar has a multi-concave underwater hull where the flow patterns follow curved channels & concaves. The result is a perfect mix of coordination and driving behaviour where in addition to its high jumping potential, the Stellar has outstanding glide and upwind ability.
The Stellar has been designed to have the lowest possible ecological footprint. Basalt fibres are derived from common natural, volcanic effusion rock and are used together with the sustainable Paulownia wood core and Greenpoxy to achieve this. Furthermore, sections and residues of the material can even be fully recycled in the production plant.
The Stellar is a light and innovative twintip that has the potential to set world records! Its excellent driving performance is easy to access, but for those who like to chase down storms and go big, it’s capable of rocketing you to the moon!
